زيارة وفد التدقيق الوزاري إلى سفارة جمهورية العراق في كوالالمبور Visit of the Ministerial Audit Delegation to the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur

استقبلت سفارة جمهورية العراق في كوالالمبور يوم الجمعة الموافق 19 أيلول 2025، وفد التدقيق الوزاري من وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي العراقية، وكان في استقبالهم السيد القائم بالأعمال، وبحضور السيد الملحق الثقافي الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد.

تألف الوفد الوزاري من:

• الدكتورة لبنى خميس مهدي، المدير العام لدائرة البحث والتطوير – وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي.
• الدكتورة سندس علي خليفة، معاون المدير العام لدائرة الشؤون الإدارية والمالية – وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي.
• الدكتورة جوان عبد زيدان، دائرة البعثات والعلاقات الثقافية – وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي.
• السيدة إيمان طارق علي، دائرة التدقيق والرقابة المالية – وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي.

وجرى خلال اللقاء التباحث حول عدد من القضايا التي تخص شؤون الطلبة العراقيين الدارسين في الجامعات الماليزية، إضافة إلى بحث الملفات المرتبطة بعمل الملحقية الثقافية العراقية، ومنها موضوع اللجنة الثقافية المشتركة بين العراق وماليزيا. وأكد المجتمعون على أهمية الإسراع في استكمال الترتيبات اللازمة لعقد الاجتماعات الثنائية للجنة في أقرب وقت ممكن، لاسيما بعد الزيارة الأخيرة التي قام بها نائب رئيس الوزراء الماليزي إلى العراق وما أفرزته من نتائج إيجابية على صعيد العلاقات الثنائية.

وفي ختام الزيارة، ثمّن وفد التدقيق الوزاري حفاوة الاستقبال وكرم الضيافة الذي أبدته السفارة العراقية وطاقمها، مشيدين بجهودها المتواصلة في تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والثقافي بين العراق وماليزيا، وبخدمة الجالية والطلبة العراقيين.

Event: Visit of the Oversight Delegation from the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research

On Friday, 19 September 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur welcomed the ministerial audit delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Iraq. The delegation was received by the Chargé d’Affaires, in the presence of the Cultural Attaché, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdul Jaleel Mohammed Majeed.

The delegation was composed of:

• Dr. Lubna Khamis Mahdi, Director General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
• Dr. Sondos Ali Khalifa, Deputy Director General of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
• Dr. Jowan Abdul Zaidan, Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
• Ms. Iman Tariq Ali, Audit and Financial Control Department, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

During the meeting, the discussions focused on several issues related to Iraqi students studying in Malaysian universities, as well as matters concerning the work of the Iraqi Cultural Attaché. Among the topics raised was the Iraq–Malaysia Joint Cultural Committee, where both sides stressed the importance of expediting the necessary arrangements to convene the committee’s bilateral meetings in the near future, particularly in light of the recent visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia to Iraq and its positive outcomes for bilateral relations.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and generous hospitality extended by the Embassy of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur, commending its ongoing efforts in strengthening academic and cultural cooperation between Iraq and Malaysia, and in supporting the Iraqi community and students abroad.
