شارك السيد المستشار الثقافي العراقي، الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد، والموظف الاداري الدكتور صلاح مهدي خليل، في حفل تخرج الدفعة 37 لجامعة University College Sedaya International (UCSI) الماليزية، والذي أقيم يوم السبت الموافق 21-9-2024. وجاءت هذه المشاركة تلبيةً للدعوة الكريمة التي وجهت إلى الملحقية من قبل رئيس الجامعة البروفيسور داتوك بيتر نجو، ,السيد رئيس جامعة UCSI الاستاذ الدكتورتان سيري داتو سيتي حمسية .
وخلال مراسم الاستقبال، تم اللقاء بعدد من قيادات الجامعة، ومن بينهم نائب رئيسة الجامعة الاستاذ الدكتورتان سيري داتو سيتي حمسية حيث تناول اللقاء سبل تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي بين الجامعات الماليزية والعراقية. كما حضر اللقاء الأستاذ الدكتور عمار الطالب، أحد الأكاديميين العراقيين المميزين الذي يشغل منصباً رفيعاً في الجامعة.
وأثناء الحفل، أكد السيد الملحق الثقافي على أهمية بناء جسور التعاون الأكاديمي بين العراق وماليزيا، مثمناً عمق العلاقات الثقافية والعلمية بين البلدين. وقد تم التطرق إلى العديد من المشاريع الأكاديمية المشتركة التي من شأنها تعزيز التعاون الثنائي، مع التأكيد على توسيع نطاق تلك المشاريع في المستقبل.
وفي ختام الحفل، تم تقديم الشكر لرئيس الجامعة ومالكها على الدعوة الكريمة، حيث أعربت قيادة الجامعة عن امتنانها لحضور ممثلي السفارة العراقية، متمثلةً بالملحقية الثقافية، إلى حفل التخرج. كما شددت الجامعة على أهمية المضي قدماً في المشاريع التي تم الاتفاق عليها سابقاً، وعلى توسيع قاعدة التعاون مع المؤسسات الأكاديمية العراقية لتشمل مجالات أوسع من البحث والتعليم والتدريب.
كما تم التقاط الصور التذكارية بهذه المناسبة، توثيقاً للحضور المتميز وتأكيداً على الروابط الأكاديمية القوية بين العراق وماليزيا.

The Iraqi Cultural Cunselor, Assistant Professor Dr. AbdulJalel Mohammed Majeed, and Academic Advisor Dr. Salah Mahdi Khaleel, participated in the graduation ceremony of the 37th cohort of University College Sedaya International (UCSI) Malaysia, held on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Their participation came in response to the kind invitation extended by the University President, Professor Datuk Peter Ng, and the Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Datuk Ts Ir Dr Siti Hamisah Binti Tapsir,
During the reception, meetings were held with several university leaders, including the Vice President, Professor Datuk Ts Ir Dr Siti Hamisah Binti Tapsir. The discussions focused on strengthening academic cooperation between Malaysian and Iraqi universities. Among those present was Professor Dr. Ammar Al-Talib, a distinguished Iraqi academic who holds a prominent position at the university.
During the ceremony, the Cultural Attaché emphasized the importance of building strong academic bridges between Iraq and Malaysia, appreciating the deep cultural and scientific ties between the two nations. Several joint academic projects were discussed, aiming to enhance bilateral cooperation, with a focus on expanding the scope of these projects in the future.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the University Vice-Chancellor and Owner were thanked for their generous invitation. The university leadership expressed their gratitude for the attendance of the representatives of the Iraqi Embassy, embodied by the Cultural Attaché, at the graduation ceremony. They stressed the importance of continuing the previously agreed-upon projects and expressed their desire to expand cooperation with Iraqi academic institutions, encompassing broader areas of research, education, and training.
Commemorative photos were taken to mark the occasion, highlighting the distinguished presence and reinforcing the strong academic ties between Iraq and Malaysia.
