زار وفد الملحقية الثقافية العراقية جامعة كوالالمبور (UniKL)وذلك يوم الجمعة الموافق 28-2-2025 ، حيث أتيحت للوفد الفرصة للاطلاع عن كثب على إمكانيات الجامعة، وخاصة في مجال هندسة صيانة الطائرات. وقد تركزت الزيارة على برنامج شهادة صيانة الطائرات – EASA الجزء 66، الذي يتوافق مع المعايير العالمية في مجال الطيران ويوفر للطلاب فرصًا عالية في التوظيف.

ترأس الوفد المستشار الثقافي الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد وبصحبته الموظف الإداري الدكتور صلاح مهدي خليل حيث تم استكشاف ورش العمل المتطورة والمختبرات التي تقدمها الجامعة، والتي توفر تدريبًا عمليًا للطلاب في مجالات صيانة وإصلاح الطائرات. تتميز هذه المنشآت بأنها واحدة من القلائل في جنوب شرق آسيا التي توفر بيئة تدريبية صناعية معتمدة، مزودة بطائرات حقيقية وأدوات صيانة متطورة.

تعتبر جامعة UniKLالمؤسسة الوحيدة في جنوب شرق آسيا التي تقدم شهادات  EASA الخاصة بصيانة الطائرات للمراحل المختلفة، مما يجعلها وجهة فريدة للطلاب الطموحين في مجال الطيران.

وخلال الزيارة، تم مناقشة فرص التعاون الأكاديمي المحتملة بين الملحقية الثقافية العراقية والجامعة، بالإضافة إلى دعم الطلاب العراقيين المهتمين بمهن الطيران والمجالات التقنية الأخرى. وقد أعربت الجامعة عن رغبتها في التعاون مع المؤسسات العراقية لتعزيز الشراكات الأكاديمية والصناعية.

تُظهر الزيارة التزام جامعة UniKL بتخريج متخصصين مؤهلين في مجال الطيران، وضمان حصول الطلاب على خبرة عملية في مجال الطيران تحضرهم لسوق العمل العالمي.

وتتطلع الملحقية الثقافية العراقية إلى تعزيز التعاون مع جامعة UniKL ومواصلة دعم الطلاب العراقيين في مساعيهم الأكاديمية في ماليزيا وخارجها.

The Iraqi Cultural Attaché delegation recently visited Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), where they had the opportunity to closely examine the university’s capabilities, particularly in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. The visit focused on UniKL’s renowned Aircraft Maintenance License Program – EASA Part 66, which adheres to global aviation standards and offers students high employability prospects.

The delegation, led by Cultural Counselor Dr. Abduljaleel Mohammed Majeed and Administrative Officer Dr. Salah Mahdi Khaleel, explored the university’s advanced aircraft maintenance workshops and laboratories, which provide students with hands-on training in aircraft repair, maintenance, and overhaul (MRO). These state-of-the-art facilities are among the few in Southeast Asia to offer a fully operational industry-standard training environment, equipped with real aircraft and advanced maintenance tools.

UniKL is recognized to be the only institution in Southeast Asia offering EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) certifications for aircraft maintenance at various levels, making it a unique destination for aspiring aviation professionals.

During the visit, the delegation also discussed potential academic collaborations and the opportunity to support Iraqi students interested in pursuing careers in aviation and other technical fields. The university has expressed its eagerness to collaborate with Iraqi institutions to foster strong academic and industrial partnerships.

The visit highlighted the university’s commitment to producing highly skilled aviation professionals, ensuring students receive real-world aviation experience that prepares them for the global job market.

The Iraqi Cultural Attaché looks forward to further strengthening ties with UniKL and continuing to support Iraqi students in their academic pursuits in Malaysia and beyond.
