شاركت السيدة الملحق الثقافي العراقي الأستاذ المساعد دكتور أحلام نعمه لفته والسيدة مها جاسم من القسم الثقافي في سفارة العراق في كوالالمبور في مهرجان “طرق” الذي نظمه قسم العلاقات الدولية في جامعة بوترا الماليزية وبالمشاركة مع اتحاد الطلبة الدوليين في الجامعة. شهد المهرجان مشاركة مميزة من الطلبة العراقيين، حيث عرضوا مجسمات للآثار العراقية والنقوش والأعمال اليدوية، إضافة إلى بوسترات توضح تاريخ العراق الغني والجامعات العراقية المرموقة.

أقيم المهرجان يوم الجمعة الموافق 31 مايو 2024، وكان فرصة لتعريف الحضور من مختلف الجنسيات بالتراث الثقافي والتاريخي للعراق. تضمن العرض نماذج ثلاثية الأبعاد لبعض المواقع الأثرية الشهيرة في العراق مثل زقورة أور وبوابة عشتار، إضافة إلى عرض أعمال يدوية تعكس الحرف التقليدية العراقية. كما تم توزيع منشورات وبوسترات تبرز الإنجازات الأكاديمية والعلمية للجامعات العراقية وتاريخها العريق.

أعربت الدكتورة أحلام نعمه لفته عن سعادتها بالمشاركة في هذا الحدث الثقافي، مشيرة إلى أهمية مثل هذه الفعاليات في تعزيز التبادل الثقافي والتفاهم بين الشعوب. كما أكدت على دور الطلبة العراقيين في نقل صورة مشرفة عن بلادهم وثقافتهم من خلال مشاركتهم الفعالة في مثل هذه المناسبات.

من جانبها، أشادت السيدة مها جاسم بجهود الطلبة العراقيين في تنظيم وعرض هذه الفعالية، موضحة أن مثل هذه المشاركات تساهم في بناء جسور التواصل والتفاهم بين الطلبة من مختلف الدول وتبرز الجوانب الإيجابية للثقافة العراقية.

The Iraqi Cultural Attaché, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahlaam N. Lafta, and Ms. Maha Jasim from the Cultural Section at the Iraqi Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, participated in the “Roads” Festival organized by the International Relations Department at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in collaboration with the International Students Union at UPM. The festival featured a significant contribution from Iraqi students, who showcased models of Iraqi artifacts, engravings, and handicrafts, along with posters highlighting Iraq’s rich history and its esteemed universities.

The festival, held on Friday, May 31, 2024, provided an opportunity to introduce attendees from various nationalities to Iraq’s cultural and historical heritage. The display included 3D models of famous archaeological sites in Iraq, such as the Ziggurat of Ur and the Ishtar Gate, along with traditional handicrafts. Additionally, brochures and posters were distributed, emphasizing the academic and scientific achievements of Iraqi universities and their long-standing history.

Dr. Ahlaam N. Lafta expressed her delight in participating in this cultural event, highlighting the importance of such activities in promoting cultural exchange and mutual understanding between nations. She emphasized the role of Iraqi students in presenting a positive image of their country and culture through their active participation in these events.

Ms. Maha Jasim praised the efforts of the Iraqi students in organizing and presenting the exhibition, noting that such participation helps build bridges of communication and understanding among students from different countries and showcases the positive aspects of Iraqi culture.
