The Iraqi Cultural Attaché Office in Kuala Lumpur Receives a Delegation from the University of Cyberjaya

استقبلت الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور وفدًا من جامعة سايبرجايا، وذلك يوم الجمعة 9 كانون الثاني/يناير 2026، في مقر الملحقية

وضمّ الوفد الزائر كلًا من السيد محمد خليل أحمد، القائم بأعمال مساعد مدير استقطاب الطلبة الدوليين، والسيدة ليديا وان، التنفيذية في قسم استقطاب الطلبة الدوليين، وذلك بعد اعتذار السيد سيفابالان عن الحضور لارتباطه بأمور طارئة.

وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث سبل تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي بين جامعة سايبرجايا والجامعات العراقية، ولا سيما في مجالات استقطاب الطلبة العراقيين، وتبادل المعلومات الأكاديمية، وفرص القبول والدراسة، إضافة إلى مناقشة آليات التنسيق المستقبلي بما يخدم مصلحة الطلبة ويسهم في توسيع آفاق التعاون بين الجانبين

وأكدت الملحقية الثقافية حرصها على توطيد علاقات التعاون مع مؤسسات التعليم العالي الماليزية، ودعم المبادرات التي تسهم في توفير بيئة تعليمية متميزة للطلبة العراقيين، بما يعزز العلاقات الأكاديمية والثقافية بين العراق وماليزيا

The Iraqi Cultural Attaché Office in Kuala Lumpur received a delegation from the University of Cyberjaya on Friday, 9 January 2026, at the Attaché Office.

The visiting delegation included Mr. Mohamed Khalil Ahmed, Acting Assistant Manager for International Student Recruitment, and Ms. Lydia Wan, Executive for International Student Recruitment, following the apology of Mr. Sivabalan for his absence due to urgent commitments.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance academic cooperation between the University of Cyberjaya and Iraqi universities, particularly in the areas of Iraqi student recruitment, academic information exchange, admission opportunities, and study programmes. Mechanisms for future coordination were also explored in a manner that serves students’ interests and contributes to expanding cooperation between the two sides.

The Iraqi Cultural Attaché Office reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration with Malaysian higher education institutions and supporting initiatives that provide a high-quality educational environment for Iraqi students, thereby reinforcing academic and cultural relations between Iraq and Malaysia.
