كوالالمبور، 1 تشرين الأول 2024 – استقبلت الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور وفدًا من جامعة الفا الماليزية يوم الثلاثاء، حيث ترأس الوفد مساعد رئيس الجامعة لشؤون العلاقات الدولية والطلبة الدوليين، ومدير قسم التسويق، ومدير قسم الاعتماد الجامعي.
حيث استقبل السيد المستشار الثقافي العراقي، الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد، الوفد في مقر الملحقية، و تم خلال اللقاء تبادل وجهات النظر حول آليات الاعتراف بالجامعات التي تعتمدها وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي العراقية. كما تم بحث السبل التي يمكن أن تسلكها الجامعة لتكون ضمن دليل جامعات النفقة الخاصة وفق الضوابط المعمول بها.
ومن جانبه, أعرب السيد المستشار الثقافي عن استعداد الملحقية لتقديم كافة التسهيلات اللازمة لربط الجامعة مع نظيراتها العراقية من خلال المجاميع البحثية، المؤتمرات المشتركة، والمنح الدراسية والبحثية، والتي ستكون نقطة انطلاق للعلاقات الأكاديمية بين الطرفين.
كما قدم الوفد عرضًا سريعًا عن الجامعة والتوسعات التي تشهدها، خاصة مع قرب انتقال الجامعة إلى موقع جديد، وخططها للاندراج في التصنيفات الدولية.
في ختام اللقاء، أعرب الوفد عن شكره الكبير لحفاوة الاستقبال وكرم الضيافة، وكذلك الاحترافية التي تتعامل بها الملحقية الثقافية في كوالالمبور على مختلف الأصعدة العلمية والأكاديمية والثقافية. وعبر السيد المستشار الثقافي عن سعادته بهذه الزيارة وتمنياته للجامعة بالتوفيق في المستقبل القريب.

Kuala Lumpur, October 1, 2024 – The Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur welcomed a delegation from ALFA University Malaysia on Tuesday. The delegation was led by the Assistant Vice-Chancellor for International Relations and International Students, along with the Director of Marketing and the Director of University Accreditation.
The delegation was received by the Iraqi Cultural Counselor, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Jalil Muhammad Mageed, at the Iraqi cultural Attaché’s office. During the meeting, perspectives were exchanged regarding the mechanisms for recognizing universities accredited by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The discussion also covered potential pathways for the university to be included in the list of private universities according to the applicable regulations imposed by Iraqi ministry of higher education.
The Cultural Counselor expressed the readiness of the Iraqi Attaché to provide all necessary facilitation to connect Alfa university with its Iraqi counterparts through research groups, joint conferences, and scholarships, which would serve as a launching point for academic relations between the two parties.
Additionally, the delegation presented a brief overview of the university and the expansions it is witnessing, especially with the upcoming relocation to a new site, along with plans for inclusion in international rankings.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the delegation expressed their deep gratitude for the warm reception and generous hospitality, as well as the professionalism exhibited by the Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur across various academic and cultural dimensions. The Cultural Counselor conveyed his happiness with the visit and wished the university success in the near future.
