ضمن سعي الملحقية العراقية في كوالالمبور لتعزيز التعاون الثقافي والتعليمي بين العراق وماليزيا، قام وفد من الملحقية الثقافية العراقية والسفارة العراقية بتلبية الدعوة لزيارة للجامعة التقنية في ملالكا الماليزية وذلك يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 9-1-2024
حيث تم استقبال الوفد العراقي بحفاوة وترحيب كبيرين من قبل إدارة الجامعة والهيئة التدريسية. وكان الهدف الرئيسي من الزيارة تعزيز التبادل الثقافي وتقديم فرص للتعاون الأكاديمي بين الجامعة التقنية في ملاكا والجامعات العراقية .
وتضمن الوفد الزائر كل من الاستاذ المساعد الدكتور احلام نعمه لفته المستشار الثقافي في سفارة جمهروية العراق والدكتور صلاح مهدي خليل الموظف الادراي والسيدة مها جاسم نعمه من قسم العلام الثقافي في سفارة جمهورية العراق في ماليزيا.
أثناء الزيارة، تم عقد اجتماع موسع مع السيدة رئيسة الجامعة البروف داتو تان سيري دكتور ماسالا قمراليدن وعدد مسؤولي الجامعة لمناقشة سبل تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي وتقديم الدعم للطلاب العراقيين الذين يدرسون في المؤسسات التعليمية في ماليزيا. كما تمت مناقشة الفرص المحتملة لتبادل الطلاب والباحثين بين البلدين.
وفي خضم الاجتماع تم التباحث بخصوص تعزيز فرص التعاون بين العراق ومالزيا وبين الجامعات التقنية العراقية والجامعة التقية في ملاكا من خلال عقد مذكرات تفاهم او من خلال فتح مركز تعلمي للجامعة التقنية في ملاكا مع احدى الجامعات التقنية العراقية ولاجل مد جسور التعاون والتفاهم . كما تم التباحث بخصوص عمل تجمع لخريجي الجامعة العراقيين وتنظيم الفعاليات المشتركة معهم في العراق .
تعد هذه الزيارة خطوة هامة نحو تعزيز الروابط الثقافية والتعليمية بين العراق وماليزيا، وتشير إلى التزام الجانبين بتعزيز التبادل الأكاديمي وتوسيع آفاق التعاون في مختلف المجالات.

Event: Official Invitation to Visit the University
As part of the Iraqi Embassy’s efforts in Kuala Lumpur to enhance cultural and educational cooperation between Iraq and Malaysia, a delegation from the Iraqi Cultural Attaché and the Iraqi Embassy responded to an official invitation to visit the Technical University in Malacca, Malaysia, (UTeM) on Tuesday, January 9 – 2024 .
The Iraqi delegation was warmly welcomed by the university administration and faculty. The primary goal of the visit was to strengthen cultural exchange and provide opportunities for academic cooperation between the Technical University in Malacca and Iraqi universities.
The visiting delegation included Assistant Professor Dr. Ahlam Naemah Lafta, the Cultural Attaché Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Salah Mahdi Khaleel, the Academic Advisor, and Ms. Maha Jasim Naima from the Media and Cultural Affairs Department at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Malaysia.
During the visit, an extensive meeting was held with the university Vice Chancellor, Prof. Datuk TS. Dr. Massila Kamalruldin, and several university officials to discuss ways to enhance academic collaboration and provide support for Iraqi students studying in educational institutions in Malaysia. Potential opportunities for student and researcher exchanges between the two countries were also discussed.
In the midst of the meeting, discussions were held regarding the enhancement of collaboration opportunities between Iraq and Malaysia, specifically between Iraqi technical universities and the Technical University in Malacca. This included exploring the possibility of signing memoranda of understanding or establishing an academic canter for the Technical University in Malacca in collaboration with one of the Iraqi technical universities, aiming to strengthen cooperation and understanding. Discussions also covered the establishment of an alumni Association or alumni chapter for Iraqi graduates and organizing joint events with them in Iraq. This visit represents a significant step towards enhancing cultural and educational ties between Iraq and Malaysia, indicating the commitment of both sides to promoting academic exchange and expanding cooperation in various fields
