حضرت الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور مراسم توقيع الاتفاقية الأكاديمية المشتركة بين جامعة المشرق وجامعة سيدايا، وذلك في إطار تعزيز التعاون العلمي والأكاديمي بين الجامعات العراقية والماليزية، وتوسيع آفاق الشراكات الدولية في مجالات التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي

ومثّل الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور السيد الملحق الثقافي الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد، الذي أكد خلال حضوره مراسم التوقيع أهمية هذه الاتفاقيات في بناء جسور التعاون الأكاديمي بين المؤسسات التعليمية في العراق وماليزيا، بما يسهم في تطوير البرامج الأكاديمية وتبادل الخبرات العلمية والبحثية بين الجانبين

وشهدت مراسم التوقيع حضور وفد جامعة المشرق المتمثل بمساعدي رئيس الجامعة الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور أحمد كنعان والدكتورة آية ياسين، إلى جانب عدد من المسؤولين والأكاديميين من جامعة سيدايا، حيث جرى التأكيد على أهمية توسيع مجالات التعاون المشترك في التخصصات العلمية والإنسانية، وبرامج التبادل الأكاديمي، والإشراف البحثي المشترك، فضلاً عن تطوير فرص الدراسات العليا والبحث العلمي

وأكد السيد الملحق الثقافي أن الجامعات العراقية تشهد اليوم انفتاحاً متزايداً نحو الجامعات العالمية الرصينة، ولاسيما الجامعات الماليزية التي حققت تقدماً ملحوظاً في التصنيفات العالمية، مشيراً إلى أن هذه الشراكات تسهم في تعزيز جودة التعليم العالي وتوفير بيئة أكاديمية متطورة للطلبة والباحثين العراقيين

من جانبها، أعربت إدارتا الجامعتين عن تطلعهما إلى أن تشكل هذه الاتفاقية بداية لمرحلة جديدة من التعاون الأكاديمي المستدام، بما يخدم المصالح العلمية المشتركة ويعزز فرص التبادل الثقافي والمعرفي بين العراق وماليزيا

وتأتي هذه الاتفاقية ضمن سلسلة من المبادرات التي تهدف إلى تعزيز العلاقات الأكاديمية الدولية للجامعات العراقية، وترسيخ حضورها العلمي في المحافل الإقليمية والدولية، بما ينسجم مع توجهات وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي العراقية نحو تدويل التعليم وبناء شراكات استراتيجية مع الجامعات العالمية المتميزة

The Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur Attends the Signing of an Academic Agreement Between Al-Mashreq University and UCSI University Malaysia

The Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur attended the signing ceremony of a joint academic agreement between Al-Mashreq University and UCSI University, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation between Iraqi and Malaysian universities and to expand international partnerships in the fields of higher education and scientific research.

Representing the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur, Assist. Prof. Dr. Abduljaleel Mohammed Majeed, the Iraqi Cultural Attaché, emphasized during the ceremony the importance of such agreements in building bridges of academic cooperation between educational institutions in Iraq and Malaysia, contributing to the development of academic programs and the exchange of scientific and research expertise between both sides.

The signing ceremony was attended by the delegation of Al-Mashreq University represented by the University President’s Assistants, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kanaan and Dr. Aya Yaseen, in addition to a number of officials and academics from UCSI University. The participants highlighted the importance of expanding areas of joint cooperation in scientific and humanities disciplines, academic exchange programs, joint research supervision, as well as the development of postgraduate studies and scientific research opportunities.

The Cultural Attaché further noted that Iraqi universities are witnessing increasing openness toward internationally recognized universities, particularly Malaysian universities that have achieved remarkable progress in global rankings. He stressed that such partnerships contribute to enhancing the quality of higher education and providing an advanced academic environment for Iraqi students and researchers.

For their part, the administrations of both universities expressed their aspiration for this agreement to mark the beginning of a new phase of sustainable academic cooperation that serves mutual scientific interests and strengthens cultural and knowledge exchange between Iraq and Malaysia.

This agreement comes within a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing the international academic relations of Iraqi universities and reinforcing their scientific presence in regional and international academic forums, in line with the vision of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research toward the internationalization of education and the establishment of strategic partnerships with distinguished global universities.
