استقبل المستشار الثقافي العراقي في كوالالمبور، الأستاذ المشارك الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد، في مقر الملحقية الثقافية العراقية، الأستاذ المشارك الدكتور أحمد جمال عبد الله الجبوري، أحد الكفاءات الأكاديمية العراقية العاملة جامعة آسيا باسيفيك للتكنولوجيا والابتكار (Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation – APU) في ماليزيا

وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث سبل تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي بين الجامعات العراقية والمؤسسات الأكاديمية الماليزية، والاستفادة من الخبرات العراقية المتميزة العاملة في الجامعات العالمية، بما يسهم في دعم مسيرة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي في العراق وتعزيز الشراكات العلمية الدولية

وأشاد المستشار الثقافي بالإنجازات العلمية المتميزة التي حققها الدكتور أحمد جمال عبد الله الجبوري، ولا سيما إدراجه ضمن قائمة أفضل 2% من العلماء الأكثر تأثيراً في العالم وفق التصنيف الصادر عن جامعة ستانفورد بالتعاون مع قاعدة بيانات Elsevier، تقديراً لإسهاماته البحثية المتميزة في مجالات هندسة الاتصالات والهوائيات والأنظمة اللاسلكية

من جانبه، أعرب الدكتور أحمد جمال عبد الله الجبوري عن اعتزازه بالتواصل مع الملحقية الثقافية العراقية، مؤكداً استعداده لدعم المبادرات الأكاديمية والبحثية التي تسهم في تعزيز التعاون العلمي بين الجامعات العراقية ونظيراتها الماليزية، ونقل الخبرات البحثية بما يخدم تطور قطاع التعليم العالي في العراق

Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur Receives Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Jamal Abdullah Al-Gburi to Discuss Prospects for Academic and Research Cooperation

The Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul Jaleel Mohamad Majeed, received Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Jamal Abdullah Al-Gburi at the headquarters of the Iraqi Cultural Attaché. Dr. Al-Gburi is one of the distinguished Iraqi academics working at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) in Malaysia.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to strengthen academic and research cooperation between Iraqi universities and Malaysian academic institutions. They also explored opportunities to benefit from the expertise of accomplished Iraqi academics working at international universities, in support of higher education and scientific research in Iraq and the expansion of international academic partnerships.

The Cultural Attaché commended the distinguished academic and research achievements of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Jamal Abdullah Al-Gburi, particularly his inclusion among the world’s top 2% most influential researchers, in recognition of his significant research contributions in the fields of telecommunications engineering, antennas, and wireless systems.

For his part, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Jamal Abdullah Al-Gburi expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to engage with the Iraqi Cultural Attaché and affirmed his readiness to support academic and research initiatives aimed at strengthening scientific cooperation between Iraqi and Malaysian universities. He also emphasized the importance of sharing research expertise in ways that contribute to the development of Iraq’s higher education sector.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides highlighted the importance of maintaining communication with distinguished Iraqi academics abroad and strengthening their role in building bridges of scientific and research cooperation. Such engagement contributes to advancing research and innovation and reinforces Iraq’s academic presence at the international level.
