الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور تستقبل وفد جامعة المشرق لبحث التعاون الأكاديمي مع الجامعات الماليزية

استقبلت الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور وفداً من جامعة المشرق ضمّ مساعدي رئيس الجامعة، الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور أحمد كنعان والدكتورة آية ياسين، وذلك خلال زيارتهم الرسمية إلى ماليزيا بهدف تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والعلمي وتوقيع عدد من الاتفاقيات ومذكرات التفاهم مع الجامعات الماليزية

وكان في استقبال الوفد السيد الملحق الثقافي العراقي في كوالالمبور الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد، حيث رحّب بالوفد الزائر، مشيداً بالجهود التي تبذلها جامعة المشرق في توسيع آفاق التعاون الدولي والانفتاح على التجارب الأكاديمية العالمية، ولاسيما مع الجامعات الماليزية التي تتمتع بسمعة علمية متميزة على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي

وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث سبل تطوير العلاقات الأكاديمية بين الجامعات العراقية والماليزية، وتعزيز التعاون في مجالات البحث العلمي، وبرامج التبادل الأكاديمي، والإشراف المشترك، فضلاً عن مناقشة فرص إقامة برامج دراسات عليا مشتركة تسهم في تطوير البيئة التعليمية والبحثية في العراق

وأكد السيد الملحق الثقافي أهمية هذه الزيارات الأكاديمية في ترسيخ الشراكات العلمية بين مؤسسات التعليم العالي في البلدين، بما ينسجم مع توجهات وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي العراقية نحو تدويل التعليم وتعزيز حضور الجامعات العراقية في المحافل الأكاديمية الدولية

من جانبه، عبّر وفد جامعة المشرق عن تقديره للدور الذي تضطلع به الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور في دعم الجامعات العراقية وتسهيل تواصلها مع المؤسسات الأكاديمية الماليزية، مؤكدين حرص الجامعة على بناء شراكات فاعلة ومستدامة مع الجامعات الماليزية بما يخدم الطلبة والباحثين ويعزز جودة التعليم العالي

وتأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار سعي جامعة المشرق إلى توسيع شبكة علاقاتها الأكاديمية الدولية والاستفادة من الخبرات الماليزية المتقدمة في مجالات التعليم والبحث العلمي والتطوير المؤسسي، بما يسهم في الارتقاء بمستوى البرامج الأكاديمية وتحقيق أهداف التنمية العلمية المستدامة

The Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur Receives Al-Mashreq University Delegation to Enhance Academic Cooperation with Malaysian Universities

The Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur received a delegation from Al-Mashreq University consisting of the University President’s Assistants, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kanaan and Dr. Aya Yaseen, during their official visit to Malaysia aimed at strengthening academic and scientific cooperation and signing a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding with Malaysian universities.

The delegation was welcomed by the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur, Assist. Prof. Dr. Abduljaleel Mohammed Majeed, who praised the efforts made by Al-Mashreq University in expanding international cooperation and engaging with global academic experiences, particularly with Malaysian universities that enjoy a distinguished academic reputation at both regional and international levels.

During the meeting, discussions focused on ways to develop academic relations between Iraqi and Malaysian universities and to strengthen cooperation in the fields of scientific research, academic exchange programs, and joint supervision, in addition to exploring opportunities for establishing joint postgraduate programs that contribute to the development of the educational and research environment in Iraq.

The Cultural Attaché emphasized the importance of such academic visits in strengthening scientific partnerships between higher education institutions in both countries, in line with the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s vision toward the internationalization of education and enhancing the global academic presence of Iraqi universities.

For their part, the delegation from Al-Mashreq University expressed their appreciation for the important role played by the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur in supporting Iraqi universities and facilitating communication with Malaysian academic institutions. They also affirmed the university’s commitment to building effective and sustainable partnerships with Malaysian universities in ways that serve students and researchers and contribute to improving the quality of higher education.

This visit comes as part of Al-Mashreq University’s ongoing efforts to expand its international academic network and benefit from Malaysia’s advanced expertise in education, scientific research, and institutional development, thereby contributing to the advancement of academic programs and the achievement of sustainable scientific development goals.
