استقبل الملحق الثقافي العراقي في كوالالمبور، الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد، كوكبة من طلبة الإجازات الدراسية الموفدين من وزارة الكهرباء العراقية للعام الدراسي 2026، وذلك في مقر الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في العاصمة الماليزية كوالالمبور، ضمن إطار متابعة شؤون الطلبة العراقيين الدارسين في الجامعات الماليزية وتقديم الدعم والإرشاد الأكاديمي والثقافي لهم.
وفي مستهل اللقاء، رحّب السيد الملحق الثقافي بالطلبة الموفدين، متمنياً لهم التوفيق والنجاح في مسيرتهم العلمية، مؤكداً أهمية استثمار فرصة الدراسة في الجامعات الماليزية بما تمتلكه من بيئة أكاديمية متقدمة وتخصصات علمية حديثة تسهم في تطوير قدرات الطلبة العلمية والبحثية.
كما قدّم الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد مجموعة من النصائح والإرشادات المتعلقة بطبيعة الدراسة في ماليزيا، وآليات التأقلم مع البيئة الجامعية، وأهمية الالتزام بالقوانين والتعليمات الأكاديمية، فضلاً عن ضرورة تمثيل العراق بصورة مشرّفة تعكس المستوى الحضاري والثقافي للطالب العراقي في الخارج.
وتناول اللقاء التعريف بالثقافة الماليزية وطبيعة المجتمع الماليزي القائم على التنوع الثقافي والتعايش والانفتاح، حيث أكد السيد الملحق الثقافي أهمية احترام العادات والتقاليد المحلية وبناء علاقات إيجابية مع المجتمع الأكاديمي والطلبة الدوليين، بما يعزز تجربة الطلبة العلمية والثقافية خلال مدة دراستهم.
كما جرى خلال اللقاء توضيح دور الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في متابعة شؤون الطلبة وتقديم التسهيلات الممكنة لهم، إضافة إلى الإجابة عن استفسارات الطلبة المتعلقة بالإقامة والدراسة والحياة الجامعية في ماليزيا.
ويأتي هذا اللقاء في إطار حرص الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور على دعم الطلبة العراقيين المبتعثين، وتهيئة البيئة المناسبة لهم لتحقيق النجاح الأكاديمي، بما يسهم في إعداد كوادر علمية متخصصة قادرة على خدمة مؤسسات الدولة العراقية بعد عودتهم إلى أرض الوطن.
The Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur Receives Ministry of Electricity Scholarship Students for the 2026 Academic Year
The Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abduljaleel Mohammed Majeed, received a group of scholarship students sponsored by the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity for the 2026 academic year at the headquarters of the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur. The meeting was held as part of the Attaché’s continuous efforts to support Iraqi students studying at Malaysian universities and to provide them with academic and cultural guidance.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Cultural Attaché warmly welcomed the students and wished them success in their academic journey, emphasizing the importance of taking advantage of the educational opportunities offered by Malaysian universities, which are known for their advanced academic environment and modern scientific specializations that contribute to enhancing students’ academic and research capabilities.
During the meeting, Assist. Prof. Dr. Abduljaleel Mohammed Majeed provided the students with a number of important recommendations and guidance regarding studying in Malaysia, adapting to the university environment, and adhering to academic regulations and instructions. He also stressed the importance of representing Iraq in a positive and honorable manner that reflects the cultural and civilizational image of Iraqi students abroad.
The discussion also included an introduction to Malaysian culture and the nature of Malaysian society, which is characterized by cultural diversity, coexistence, and openness. The Cultural Attaché highlighted the importance of respecting local customs and traditions and building positive relationships within the academic community and among international students, in order to enrich the students’ academic and cultural experience throughout their studies.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed the role of the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in following up on students’ affairs and providing possible support and facilitation, in addition to answering students’ questions related to residence, study, and university life in Malaysia.
This meeting reflects the Iraqi Cultural Attaché’s commitment in Kuala Lumpur to supporting Iraqi scholarship students and creating a suitable environment for their academic success, contributing to the preparation of qualified scientific cadres capable of serving Iraqi state institutions upon their return to Iraq.
