The Cultural Attaché Attends a Joint Scientific Workshop on Applications of Artificial Intelligence in the Medical Field
شارك الملحق الثقافي، الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد، يرافقه الموظف الإداري الدكتور عمار صبري مجيد، في ورشة العمل التي أقامتها جامعة الفرات الأوسط التقنية بالتعاون مع جامعة العلوم الماليزية، تحت عنوان
استخدام تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي في المجال الطبي
وجاءت هذه الورشة في إطار تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والعلمي بين الجامعات العراقية والماليزية، وفتح آفاق جديدة لتبادل الخبرات في مجالات البحث العلمي والتطبيقات الحديثة للذكاء الاصطناعي، ولا سيما في القطاع الطبي
وقد قدّم الملحق الثقافي كلمة ترحيبية في مستهل ورشة العمل، أكد فيها أهمية إقامة مثل هذه الورش العلمية المشتركة، لما لها من دور فاعل في مواكبة التطورات التكنولوجية العالمية، وتعزيز التكامل بين البحث العلمي والتطبيق العملي، ولا سيما في المجالات الطبية الحيوية
وتناولت الورشة عددًا من المحاور المهمة، من بينها توظيف تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي في التشخيص الطبي، وتحليل الصور الطبية، ودعم اتخاذ القرار السريري، إضافة إلى استعراض أحدث التجارب البحثية المشتركة بين المؤسستين الأكاديميتين
وأشاد الملحق الثقافي خلال مشاركته بأهمية هذه الفعاليات العلمية في تطوير التعليم العالي والبحث الطبي، مؤكدًا دعم الملحقية الثقافية لمبادرات التعاون العلمي التي تسهم في تعزيز الشراكات الدولية بين الجامعات العراقية ونظيراتها العالمية
The Cultural Attaché, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abduljalil Mohammed Majeed, accompanied by Administrative Officer Dr. Ammar Sabri Majeed, participated in a workshop organized by Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University in cooperation with Universiti Sains Malaysia, entitled:
“The Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in the Medical Field.”
The workshop was held as part of efforts to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between Iraqi and Malaysian universities and to open new horizons for the exchange of expertise in scientific research and modern applications of artificial intelligence, particularly in the medical sector.
At the beginning of the workshop, the Cultural Attaché delivered a welcoming address in which he emphasized the importance of organizing such joint scientific workshops, highlighting their vital role in keeping pace with global technological advancements and in promoting integration between scientific research and practical application, especially in critical medical fields.
The workshop addressed several key topics, including the application of artificial intelligence in medical diagnosis, medical image analysis, and clinical decision support, in addition to presenting the latest joint research experiences between the two academic institutions.
During his participation, the Cultural Attaché praised the significance of such scientific events in advancing higher education and medical research, reaffirming the Cultural Attaché Office’s support for initiatives that enhance scientific cooperation and strengthen international partnerships between Iraqi universities and their global counterparts.
