The Cultural Attaché’s Office Participates in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq’s Victory Day Commemoration in Kuala Lumpur
شاركت الملحقية الثقافية في كوالالمبور في الاحتفال الرسمي الذي أقامته سفارة جمهورية العراق في كوالالمبور بمناسبة الذكرى السنوية لـ يوم النصر وتحرير أرض العراق من عصابات داعش الإرهابية، وذلك بحضور القائم بالأعمال المؤقت المستشار أحمد غانم عبد الجبار، وعدد من موظفي السفارة
وحضر الاحتفال الملحق الثقافي الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد، إلى جانب كادر الملحقية الثقافية، تأكيدًا على دورها في المشاركة الفاعلة بالمناسبات الوطنية التي تجسد وحدة الصف العراقي وتعكس القيم الوطنية في المحافل الخارجية
وأكد القائم بالأعمال المؤقت في كلمته أن العاشر من كانون الأول يمثل محطة مفصلية في تاريخ العراق الحديث، إذ استعاد فيه الوطن أرضه وهيبته، ووقف العراقيون صفًا واحدًا في مواجهة قوى الظلام والإرهاب، مشيدًا بتضحيات الشهداء وبطولات المقاتلين الذين سطروا بدمائهم ملحمة التحرير، وقدموا نموذجًا خالدًا في الصمود والإرادة الوطنية
كما أشار إلى الدور الذي تضطلع به السفارات العراقية حول العالم، ومنها الملحقية الثقافية، في توثيق معاني النصر ونقل حقيقة ما جرى إلى المجتمع الدولي، والتأكيد على أن العراق خاض معركته دفاعًا عن إنسانيته وعن العالم أجمع
واختُتمت الفعالية بالتأكيد على أن النصر يمثل أمانة وطنية في أعناق العراقيين جميعًا، وسيبقى نبراسًا للأجيال القادمة ومصدر إلهام دائم، ودليلًا راسخًا على أن كرامة العراق وتاريخه الحضاري لا تنكسر
The Cultural Attaché’s Office in Kuala Lumpur participated in the official ceremony organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur to commemorate the anniversary of Victory Day and the liberation of Iraqi territory from Daesh terrorist gangs, in the presence of the Chargé d’Affaires a.i., Counselor Ahmed Ghanem Abdul Jabbar, along with members of the Embassy staff.
The ceremony was attended by the Cultural Attaché, Dr. Abduljalil Mohammed Majeed, accompanied by staff members of the Cultural Attaché’s Office, underscoring the Office’s commitment to participating in national occasions that reflect Iraqi unity and uphold national values in international forums.
In his address, the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. emphasized that 10 December marks a defining milestone in Iraq’s modern history, as it represents the day on which the nation regained its land and dignity, and when Iraqis stood united against the forces of darkness and terrorism. He paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and the heroism of the fighters who, through their courage and sacrifice, wrote the epic of liberation and presented the world with a lasting example of resilience and national will.
He also highlighted the role of Iraqi embassies around the world, including the Cultural Attaché’s Office, in documenting the significance of this victory, conveying the truth of events to the international community, and affirming that Iraq fought in defense of its humanity and on behalf of the world at large.
The ceremony concluded with a reaffirmation that victory remains “a trust upon the shoulders of all Iraqis,” a guiding light for future generations, and a lasting source of inspiration—affirming that the dignity and heritage of Iraq remain unbreakable.
