Delegation from Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University Visits the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur
استقبلت الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور وفدًا رسميًا من جامعة الفرات الأوسط التقنية، وذلك في إطار تعزيز أواصر التعاون الأكاديمي والعلمي، وتطوير مجالات الشراكة بين مؤسسات التعليم العالي العراقية ونظيراتها في ماليزيا
وضمّ الوفد عددًا من القيادات الأكاديمية والإدارية في جامعة الفرات الأوسط التقنية، برئاسة
- الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد غانم وداي – مساعد رئيس جامعة الفرات الأوسط التقنية
- الأستاذ الدكتور أثير كاظم عبادي – عميد المعهد التقني/كافة
- الأستاذ الدكتور حيدر حسن عبد – عميد المعهد التقني/النجف
- الأستاذ الدكتور ضرغام حسن عبد – عميد الكلية التقنية الإدارية/الكوفة
- الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور علي نجاح كاظم – عميد المعهد التقني/بابل
- الأستاذ الدكتور مهدي هاتف كاظم – مدير مركز التعليم المستمر
- الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور مهند عبد الزهرة الخاقاني – مدير قسم المشاريع والإعمار
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض آفاق التعاون المشترك في مجالات الدراسات العليا، وبرامج التدريب والتطوير المهني، والتعليم المستمر، إضافة إلى بحث سبل الاستفادة من التجارب الأكاديمية والبحثية المتقدمة في الجامعات الماليزية، بما يسهم في دعم وتطوير التعليم التقني والتطبيقي في العراق
وفي هذا السياق، أكّد الملحق الثقافي العراقي في كوالالمبور أن هذه الزيارة تأتي ضمن جهود الملحقية لتعزيز التواصل المؤسسي مع الجامعات العراقية، وفتح آفاق تعاون نوعية مع مؤسسات التعليم العالي الماليزية، مشيرًا إلى أن الملحقية تضع في مقدمة أولوياتها دعم الجامعات العراقية في مساعيها للارتقاء بمستوى التعليم والبحث العلمي، وبما ينسجم مع خطط وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي العراقية
وأضاف الملحق الثقافي أن الملحقية الثقافية على استعداد تام لتقديم التسهيلات اللازمة وتنسيق اللقاءات الأكاديمية مع الجامعات الماليزية، بما يخدم المصالح العلمية المشتركة، ويسهم في بناء شراكات مستدامة تعود بالنفع على الطلبة والمؤسسات التعليمية في البلدين
وفي ختام الزيارة، أعرب وفد جامعة الفرات الأوسط التقنية عن شكره وتقديره للملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور على حفاوة الاستقبال، مثمنًا الدور الذي تؤديه في دعم التعاون الأكاديمي الدولي وخدمة الجامعات العراقية
The Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur received an official delegation from Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation and to expand partnerships between Iraqi higher education institutions and their counterparts in Malaysia
The delegation comprised a number of senior academic and administrative leaders from Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, headed by
- Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ghanem Wadai – Assistant President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University
- Prof. Dr. Atheer Kazem Abbadi – Dean, Technical Institute / Kufa
- Prof. Dr. Haider Hassan Abd – Dean, Technical Institute / Najaf
- Prof. Dr. Dhargham Hassan Abd – Dean, Administrative Technical College / Kufa
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Najah Kazem – Dean, Technical Institute / Babylon
- Prof. Dr. Mahdi Hatef Kazem – Director, Continuing Education Center
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhannad Abdul Zahra Al-Khaqani – Director, Projects and Construction Department
During the meeting, both sides discussed prospects for joint cooperation in the fields of postgraduate studies, training and professional development programs, and continuing education. The discussions also addressed ways to benefit from advanced academic and research experiences at Malaysian universities, with the aim of supporting and enhancing technical and applied education in Iraq
In this context, the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur emphasized that the visit forms part of the Attaché’s efforts to strengthen institutional communication with Iraqi universities and to open new avenues for qualitative cooperation with Malaysian higher education institutions. He noted that supporting Iraqi universities in their pursuit of academic and research excellence remains a top priority, in line with the strategic plans of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
The Cultural Attaché further affirmed the Attaché’s full readiness to provide the necessary facilitation and coordination for academic meetings with Malaysian universities, in a manner that serves mutual academic interests and contributes to building sustainable partnerships that benefit students and educational institutions in both countries
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University expressed its sincere appreciation to the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur for the warm reception and hospitality, commending the Attaché’s role in supporting international academic cooperation and serving Iraqi universities
