Visit of the Iraqi Ministerial Delegation Accompanied by the Iraqi Cultural Attaché to Sunway University in Malaysia
زار الوفد الوزاري برئاسة الدكتورة لبنى مهدي خميس وبرفقة الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور، جامعة صنواي الماليزية ، ضمن الجهود الهادفة إلى تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والثقافي بين الجامعات العراقية ونظيراتها الماليزية
خلال الزيارة، كرّمت الملحقية الدكتور علي نجاح المحفوظ، أستاذ و باحث عراقي يعمل في جامعة صنواي، تقديرًا لدوره العلمي المتميّز والمُسجّل ضمن قائمة
Top 2% Scientists in the World
كما عبّر الوفد عن فخره بدور الدكتور علي المحفوظ في رفع اسم العراق على الساحات العلمية
وأكّد أعضاء الوفد أن هذه الزيارة تأتي في سياق تعزيز شبكة البحث العلمي، وبناء شراكات أوسع مع الجامعات
الماليزية في مجالات البحث، تبادل الخبرات، وتنظيم المؤتمرات المشتركة.
The ministerial delegation, headed by Dr. Lubna Mahdi Khamis and accompanied by the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur, visited Sunway University in Malaysia as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic and cultural cooperation between Iraqi universities and their Malaysian counterparts.
During the visit, the Cultural Attaché honored Dr. Ali Najah Al-Mahfoudh, an Iraqi professor and researcher at Sunway University, in recognition of his outstanding scientific achievements and his inclusion in the Top 2% Scientists in the World list, as well as his significant contributions to joint research conferences between Iraqi universities and his institution in Malaysia.
The delegation also expressed their pride in Dr. Al-Mahfoudh’s role in raising Iraq’s name in international scientific arenas.
Members of the delegation affirmed that this visit comes within the framework of strengthening research networks and building broader partnerships with Malaysian universities in the fields of research, knowledge exchange, and the organization of joint conferences.
