قام وفد من الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور يرافقه ممثلون عن سفارة جمهورية العراق في ماليزيا بزيارة رسمية إلى جامعة لنكولن الماليزية يوم الأربعاء الموافق 20 آب 2025.
وهدفت الزيارة إلى الاطلاع على مرافق الجامعة المختلفة، ولا سيما كليتي طب الأسنان والطب العام، والتعرف على إمكاناتها الأكاديمية والبحثية. كما تخلل اللقاء مناقشة عدد من القضايا المتعلقة بالطلبة العراقيين الدارسين في الجامعة، والبحث عن حلول مناسبة لمعالجة هذه التحديات بشكل لا يتعارض مع القوانين العراقية والماليزية على حد سواء.
وخلال الزيارة، جرى الاتفاق على أهمية إيجاد أرضية مشتركة للعمل المستقبلي بين الجانبين، مع التشديد على ضرورة إعلام الملحقية الثقافية بشكل دوري بأعداد الطلبة العراقيين في الجامعة وفي مختلف الاختصاصات، إضافة إلى العمل على حل جميع مشاكل الطلبة العراقيين بشكل منهجي وسريع بما يضمن استمرار مسيرتهم الأكاديمية بنجاح.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار حرص الملحقية الثقافية العراقية على تعزيز التعاون مع الجامعات الماليزية وتقديم الدعم الأكاديمي والإداري للطلبة العراقيين بما يسهم في تذليل الصعوبات وتحقيق نتائج علمية متميزة.

A delegation from the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur, accompanied by representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Malaysia, paid an official visit to Lincoln University, Malaysia on Wednesday, 20 August 2025.
The purpose of the visit was to explore the university’s various facilities, particularly the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Medicine, and to become acquainted with its academic and research capacities. The meeting also included discussions on several issues concerning Iraqi students studying at the university, with an emphasis on finding suitable solutions in full compliance with both Iraqi and Malaysian laws.
During the visit, both sides agreed on the importance of establishing a common ground for future cooperation, while highlighting the need for the university to regularly inform the Cultural Attaché of the number of Iraqi students enrolled in all academic disciplines. Furthermore, it was agreed that all challenges faced by Iraqi students should be addressed promptly and effectively to ensure the smooth continuation of their academic journey.
This visit reflects the Cultural Attaché’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Malaysian universities and to providing academic and administrative support for Iraqi students, thereby facilitating their success and academic excellence.
