The Cultural Attach\u00e9\u2019s Office in Kuala Lumpur participated in the official ceremony organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur<\/strong> to commemorate the anniversary of Victory Day and the liberation of Iraqi territory from Daesh terrorist gangs<\/strong>, in the presence of the Charg\u00e9 d\u2019Affaires a.i., Counselor Ahmed Ghanem Abdul Jabbar<\/strong>, along with members of the Embassy staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony was attended by the Cultural Attach\u00e9, Dr. Abduljalil Mohammed Majeed<\/strong>, accompanied by staff members of the Cultural Attach\u00e9\u2019s Office, underscoring the Office\u2019s commitment to participating in national occasions that reflect Iraqi unity and uphold national values in international forums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his address, the Charg\u00e9 d\u2019Affaires a.i. emphasized that 10 December marks a defining milestone in Iraq\u2019s modern history, as it represents the day on which the nation regained its land and dignity, and when Iraqis stood united against the forces of darkness and terrorism. He paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and the heroism of the fighters who, through their courage and sacrifice, wrote the epic of liberation and presented the world with a lasting example of resilience and national will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also highlighted the role of Iraqi embassies around the world, including the Cultural Attach\u00e9\u2019s Office, in documenting the significance of this victory, conveying the truth of events to the international community, and affirming that Iraq fought in defense of its humanity and on behalf of the world at large.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
