Kuala Lumpur, April 26, 2024 \u2013 In a significant step towards enhancing cultural and academic relations, Mr. Sean Chee, a representative from ELS Language Center, visited the Iraqi Cultural Attach\u00e9 in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, April 26, 2024. He was received by Dr. Salah Mahdi Khaleel, the Academic Advisor at the Iraqi Cultural attach\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, discussions revolved around the crucial role of language in developing academic skills and communication abilities, particularly the importance of the English language amid Iraq\u2019s rapid shift towards attracting major international investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conversation also covered the increasing need in Iraq to build a strong foundation in global languages, and the possibility of opening an ELS branch in Iraq was discussed, in cooperation with various Iraqi institutions to teach not only English but also Arabic, especially to international students wishing to study in Iraq.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Salah expressed his appreciation for Mr. Sean\u2019s visit and valued the strong relationship between the institute and the attach\u00e9, emphasizing the importance of enhancing these ties to support the linguistic skills of Iraqi students in Malaysia. On his part, Mr. Sean showed great eagerness to deepen cooperation with Iraqi universities and to conduct various academic events in the upcoming period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
