In a move to enhance academic and research cooperation between universities, the University of Anbar in Iraq has signed an academic and research memorandum of understanding with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). The memorandum was signed on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, with the presence of the President of the University, Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida and the delegates from Anbar University, while the USM representatives were formed from Debuity VC and deans and heads for administrative units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This step comes within the framework of strengthening academic and research relations between Iraq and Malaysia, aiming to exchange expertise and knowledge in various fields of science and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Iraqi Cultural Attach\u00e9 in Kuala Lumpur played a significant role in facilitating the signing of this memorandum by providing logistical support and necessary administrative assistance to complete this important agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The signing ceremony took place at the main campus of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in Penang, Malaysia, where both universities representatives expressed their readiness to enhance academic and research cooperation through the exchange of expertise and scientific resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
