On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, the Cultural Counselor, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulgaleel Mohammed Majeed, the new Cultural Attach\u00e9 of the Republic of Iraq in Malaysia, paid a visit to the Iraqi Embassy in Malaysia. He was warmly received by Mr. Mohammed Faleh, the Charge d’Affaires, along with the embassy staff, who expressed their sincere welcome upon his arrival in Malaysia to officially begin his duties.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting commenced with a welcoming speech delivered by the Charge d’Affaires, in which he warmly greeted the new Counselor and praised the efforts of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in supporting and strengthening academic relations with Malaysia. He highlighted the significant role of the Cultural Attach\u00e9’s office in fostering academic and cultural cooperation between the two countries, emphasizing the special attention required for Iraqi students in Malaysia and the need to provide them with all necessary support.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting covered several key points, including the provision of necessary facilitation for Iraqi students in Malaysia, monitoring their academic and administrative affairs, and emphasizing Iraq’s representation in regional and international academic and cultural forums.
