The Assistant President of the University of Mosul for Scientific Affairs and International Cooperation, Professor Dr. Munir Salem T<\/strong>aha<\/strong>., and his accompanying delegation visited the Iraqi Cultural Attach\u00e9 in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, July 18, 2024. The visit included a close examination of the working mechanisms at the Cultural Attach\u00e9 and meetings with its staff.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Munir met with the Cultural Advisor, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahlam N. Lafta, and the staff, and held a meeting where he expressed his happiness with the achievements and aspirations of the Iraqi Cultural Attach\u00e9 in linking Iraqi universities with various Malaysian universities at multiple levels. He praised the high organization of student files and the follow-up of govern supported students under the various scholarship programs. He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts made within the Asian Program, which aims to achieve maximum benefit between top ranking universities in Iraq and Malaysia, which has so far resulted in the signing of three memorandums of understanding between the included Iraqi universities and major Malaysian universities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Munir conducted a tour of the Attach\u00e9’s offices, learned about the working mechanisms, and listened to a summary of the Attach\u00e9’s achievements, the challenges it faces, and ways to develop its work.
