في خطوة تعزز التعاون الأكاديمي والعلمي بين العراق وماليزيا، تم توقيع مذكرة تفاهم بين الجامعة التقنية الشمالية العراقية والجامعة الوطنية الماليزية. تم توقيع هذه المذكرة في حفل رسمي أقيم يوم الجمعة الموافق 10 مايو 2024، بحضور وفد من الجامعة التقنية الشمالية، برئاسة السيد رئيس الجامعة التقنية الشمالية الأستاذ الدكتور علياء عباس علي العطار.
تهدف هذه المذكرة إلى تعزيز مفاهيم التدويل الجامعي وربط الجامعات العراقية مع نظيراتها في ماليزيا، وبناء جسور التعاون العلمي بين البلدين. ومن بين أهم النقاط التي تنص عليها المذكرة هي تبادل الخبرات والموارد البشرية والمادية بين الجامعتين، وتطوير برامج البحث المشتركة، وتنظيم الفعاليات الأكاديمية المشتركة.
تعد هذه المذكرة خطوة هامة في تعزيز التعاون العلمي بين البلدين وتعزيز الروابط الثقافية والأكاديمية. ومن المتوقع أن تسهم هذه الشراكة في تطوير البحث العلمي ورفع مستوى التعليم العالي في العراق وماليزيا.
على الساحة الدولية، يُعتبر هذا التوقيع خطوة إيجابية نحو تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي وتحقيق الريادة في مجالات البحث العلمي والتطوير التكنولوجي.

In a move to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between Iraq and Malaysia, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Northern Technical University in Iraq NTU and National University of Malaysia UKM. This memorandum was signed at an official ceremony held on Friday, May 10, 2024, in the presence of a delegation from Northern Technical University, led by the President of the university, Professor Dr. Aliya Abbas Ali Al-Attar.
This memorandum aims to enhance the concept of university internationalization and link Iraqi universities with their counterparts in Malaysia, building scientific cooperation bridges between the two countries. Among the key points of the memorandum are the exchange of expertise and human and material resources between the two universities, the development of joint research programs, and the organization of joint academic events.
This memorandum represents an important step in strengthening scientific cooperation between the two countries and enhancing cultural and academic ties. It is expected that this partnership will contribute to the development of scientific research and the enhancement of higher education in Iraq and Malaysia.
