حضر الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد، الملحق الثقافي بسفارة جمهورية العراق في كوالالمبور، حفل التخرّج السابع والعشرين لجامعة السلطان إدريس للتربية (UPSI)، والذي أُقيم يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 11 نوفمبر 2025 في الحرم الجامعي بولاية بيراك، وسط حضور واسع من الخريجين وأعضاء الهيئات الأكاديمية وكبار الضيوف
وجاءت مشاركة الملحق الثقافي تلبيةً لدعوة الجامعة، وتجسيدًا لحرص الملحقية الثقافية العراقية على تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والعلمي مع الجامعات الماليزية الرائدة، ومتابعة طلبة العراق الدارسين في التخصصات التربوية والإنسانية
وهنّأ الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد إدارة الجامعة وهيئاتها الأكاديمية بمناسبة إقامة الحفل، معربًا عن اعتزازه بالمستوى الرفيع الذي وصلت إليه UPSI في مجالات إعداد المعلمين وتطوير البرامج التربوية. كما قدّم تهانيه للخريجين والخريجات، متمنيًا لهم النجاح في مسيرتهم المهنية وخدمة مجتمعاتهم
كما ثمّن الملحق الثقافي علاقات التعاون القائمة بين الملحقية والجامعة، مؤكدًا أهمية تعزيز الشراكة المستقبلية عبر برامج تدريب وتطوير المعلمين، والمشاريع البحثية المشتركة، وتبادل الخبرات بين الجامعات العراقية والماليزية، بما يسهم في دعم مسيرة النهوض بالتعليم العالي في العراق
وفي ختام زيارته، عقد الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد لقاءات ودية مع عدد من مسؤولي الجامعة لبحث آفاق التعاون
Assoc.Prof. Dr. Abdul Jalil Mohammed Majid, the Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur, attended the 27th Convocation Ceremony of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), which was held on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, at the university’s campus in Perak. The ceremony witnessed a large attendance of graduates, academic staff, and distinguished guests.
The Cultural Attaché’s participation came in response to an official invitation from the university and reflected the commitment of the Iraqi Cultural Attaché Office to strengthening academic and scientific cooperation with leading Malaysian universities, as well as following up on Iraqi students studying in educational and humanities disciplines.
Dr. Abdul Jalil Mohammed Majid congratulated the university’s administration and academic staff on the occasion of the convocation, expressing his appreciation for the high standards UPSI has achieved in teacher preparation and the development of educational programs. He also extended his congratulations to the graduating students, wishing them success in their professional careers and in serving their communities.
The Cultural Attaché also commended the ongoing collaborative relations between the Attaché Office and the university, emphasizing the importance of expanding future partnerships through teacher training and development programs, joint research projects, and academic exchange initiatives between Iraqi and Malaysian universities, in a manner that supports the advancement of higher education in Iraq.
At the conclusion of his visit, Dr. Abdul Jalil Mohammed Majid held cordial meetings with several university officials to explore future avenues of cooperation. He also met with a group of Iraqi students studying at UPSI and reviewed their academic progress and needs.
