أقيمت يوم الجمعة الموافق 13-9-2024 مراسم تسليم واستلام منصب الملحق الثقافي العراقي في كوالالمبور بين الأستاذ المساعد دكتور أحلام نعمة لفتة، الملحق الثقافي السابق، والأستاذ المساعد دكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد، الملحق الثقافي الجديد، بحضور كادر الملحقية الثقافية.
خلال المراسم، تم تكريم الملحق الثقافي السابق بكتاب شكر وشهادة تقديرية تقديراً لجهودها المبذولة طيلة فترة عملها في الملحقية الثقافية. كما قدم الاستاذ محمد فالح، القائم بالأعمال في السفارة العراقية، كتاب شكر وتقدير للسيدة د. أحلام نعمة لفتة تثمينا لجهودها الطيبة خلال خدمتها كملحق ثقافي.
من جهتها، ثمنت السيدة د. أحلام نعمة لفتة جهود كادر الملحقية كافة وتمنت لهم دوام التوفيق. كما أشاد الاستاذ المساعد الدكتور عبد الجليل محمد مجيد، المستشار الثقافي العراقي ، بالدور البارز للسيدة المستشار الثقافي السابق في تعزيز الروابط بين الجامعات العراقية والماليزية. وأوضح أن السنوات القادمة ستركز على نقل الخبرات التعليمية وفق أطر سليمة قائمة على التبادل المعرفي والثقافي، مؤكداً على وجود خطط طموحة سيتم إعدادها بالتنسيق وزارة التعليم العالي العراقية لتعزيز العلاقات القوية بين الباحثين العراقيين والماليزيين.

On Friday, 13th of September 2024, a handover ceremony took place for the Iraqi Cultural Attaché position in Kuala Lumpur between Associate Professor Dr. Ahlam Naama Lafta, the former cultural counselor, and Associate Professor Dr. Abdul Jalil Mohammed Majid, the new cultural counselor, in the presence of the Cultural Attaché staff.
During the ceremony, the former cultural counselor was honored with a letter of appreciation and a certificate of recognition in appreciation of her efforts during her tenure at the Cultural Attaché office. Additionally, Mr. Mohammed Faleh, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy, presented a letter of appreciation to Dr. Ahlam Naama Lafta, recognizing her valuable contributions during her service as the Cultural Attaché.
Dr. Ahlam Naama Lafta expressed her gratitude to the entire staff and wished them continued success. The new cultural counselor, Dr. Abdul Jalil Mohammed Majid, commended the former Attaché’s role in strengthening ties between Iraqi and Malaysian universities. He emphasized that the coming years will focus on transferring educational expertise within well-structured frameworks based on knowledge and cultural exchange. Furthermore, he highlighted ambitious plans to be prepared in coordinating with Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education to strengthen relations between Iraqi and Malaysian researchers.
