Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and Al-Turath University

في إطار تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والعلمي بين الجامعات العراقية والماليزية، تم في جامعة العلوم الماليزية توقيع مذكرة تفاهم مع جامعة التراث العراقية، تهدف إلى توطيد أواصر التعاون في مجالات البحث العلمي، وتبادل الخبرات الأكاديمية، وتطوير البرامج المشتركة بين الجانبين

وقد جرت مراسم التوقيع بحضور مساعدة رئيس جامعة العلوم الماليزية وعدد من مسؤولي الجامعة، فيما ترأس وفد جامعة التراث العراقية الدكتور جعفر جابر جواد، رئيس الجامعة، الذي أعرب عن سعادته بتوقيع هذه المذكرة، مؤكدًا أهميتها في فتح آفاق جديدة للتعاون الأكاديمي بين الجامعتين، وبما يسهم في تطوير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي في العراق

كما حضرت مراسم التوقيع الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور، متمثلة بالملحق الثقافي أ.م.د. عبد الجليل محمد مجيد، والموظف الإداري د. عمار صبري مجيد، الذين أكدوا دعم الملحقية المتواصل لجهود تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والعلمي بين الجامعات العراقية ونظيراتها الماليزية، ودورها في تيسير وتفعيل مذكرات التفاهم المشتركة

من جانبها، أكدت مساعدة رئيس جامعة USM حرص الجامعة الماليزية على تعزيز التعاون مع الجامعات العراقية، مثمنةً الجهود التي تبذلها الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور في بناء جسور التواصل الأكاديمي بين المؤسسات التعليمية في البلدين

وتأتي هذه الخطوة ضمن رؤية الملحقية الثقافية العراقية الرامية إلى توسيع شبكة الشراكات بين الجامعات العراقية والماليزية، بما يخدم الطلبة والباحثين ويعزز من جودة التعليم العالي في العراق

Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and Al-Turath Univers

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between Iraqi and Malaysian universities, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and Al-Turath University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering collaboration in research, academic exchange, and the development of joint programs.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of USM and several university officials. The delegation from Al-Turath University was headed by Professor Dr. Jaafar Jaber Jawad, President of the University, who expressed his delight at this partnership, emphasizing its significance in opening new horizons for academic cooperation between the two institutions and contributing to the advancement of higher education and scientific research in Iraq.

The ceremony was also attended by representatives of the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abduljaleel Mohammed Mageed, the Cultural Attaché, and Dr. Ammar Sabri Majeed, Administrative Officer. They affirmed the Attaché’s continued support for initiatives that promote academic and scientific collaboration between Iraqi and Malaysian universities, and its active role in facilitating and strengthening such partnerships.

For her part, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of USM expressed the university’s commitment to expanding cooperation with Iraqi institutions, praising the efforts of the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur in building academic bridges between educational institutions in both countries.

This agreement aligns with the vision of the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur to broaden the network of partnerships between Iraqi and Malaysian universities, serving students and researchers while contributing to the enhancement of higher education quality in Iraq.
