نظمت الملحقية الثقافية العراقية في كوالالمبور الملتقى الثاني للجامعات العراقية والماليزية تحت عنوان “Connecting Minds II: A Collaboration Between IJSU and Malaysian Universities 2025”، وذلك يوم 22 يناير 2025 في فندق جراند حياة بالعاصمة الماليزية كوالالمبور، بالتعاون مع جامعة الإمام جعفر الصادق العراقية.
شهد الملتقى حضور ممثلين عن السفارة العراقية، إضافةً إلى مشاركة واسعة من الجامعات الماليزية، حيث تم توجيه الدعوات إلى عدد من المؤسسات الأكاديمية، وحضره أكثر من 16 جامعة ومؤسسة أكاديمية ماليزية، كما هو موضح في القائمة المرفقة.
تم خلال الملتقى استعراض السبل الممكنة لتعزيز التعاون العلمي والأكاديمي بين جامعة الإمام جعفر الصادق والجامعات الماليزية، حيث قدم السيد المعاون العلمي للجامعة مقترحات تشمل منحًا بحثية للتعاون الدولي في مجالات متعددة، إضافةً إلى تفاهمات أولية لعقد مذكرات تفاهم تخصصية لتعزيز الشراكة الأكاديمية بين الجانبين.
يأتي هذا الملتقى في إطار الجهود المستمرة للملحقية الثقافية العراقية لتعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي بين العراق وماليزيا، وتوسيع فرص البحث والتطوير المشترك بين الجامعات العراقية والماليزية.

The Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur organized the second forum for Iraqi and Malaysian universities under the title “Connecting Minds II: A Collaboration Between IJSU and Malaysian Universities 2025” on January 22, 2025, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, in collaboration with Imam Ja’afar Al-Sadiq University (IJSU), Iraq as min sponsor.
The forum was attended by representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq, along with a broad participation of Malaysian universities. Invitations were extended to several academic institutions, and more than 16 Malaysian universities and academic organizations participated, as listed in the attached document.
During the event, discussions focused on potential avenues for scientific and academic collaboration between Imam Ja’afar Al-Sadiq University and Malaysian universities. The Deputy of president for Scientific Affairs of IJSU university presented proposals for research grants to support international cooperation in various fields, along with initial discussions for specialized Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to enhance academic partnerships.
This forum is part of the ongoing efforts of the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur to strengthen academic collaboration between Iraq and Malaysia, expanding opportunities for joint research and development between universities in both countries.
